for my typography class, had to create a poster (by hand) that would pertain to a certain decade of our choosing, so i did the late 60's, type had to represent the era also. Not sure what kind of paper I used but stapled to a bainbridge board.

The words surrounding him say "When I was a little boy, I believed that if you put a tooth under your pillow, a fairy would come in the night and take away the tooth and leave a dime. Now, I believed in myself more than anything."

his afro says Jimi Hendrix experience

the bubbles say "one night only" on the left
and the one on the right says "Friday may 10th".


oh yeah and between the bubbles it says "independence hall".

haha its all cool, yeah making the type like that by hand left cramps in my fingers haha. im glad i actually decided to post my work on here instead of coming here every morning to look at art work. i just never thought of it i guess haha. thanks again for the favorite!

you did that all by hand? woah, you have it posted as digital art =P I thought you had printed it out and then took a pic of the poster!

You may wish to put it into a traditional art category then :)
